How to Join a Meeting via Chat or Channel?

If your team meeting has already started or was created directly within a conversation window, you can join it with a single click.

Step 1: Locate the Active Meeting

Open the Chat section or a specific team Channel. If a meeting is currently in progress, you will see a prominent notification about the ongoing session at the top right of the conversation window.

Step 2: Join the Conversation

Click the Join button (see Fig. 1).

Step 3: Configure Audio and Video

Before officially entering the meeting, a preview window will open where you can:

  • Turn your camera on or off.

  • Check if your microphone is working.

  • Choose to blur your background.

💡 Useful to Know

When joining this way, all the settings you select before clicking the final join button will remain active. If needed, you can change your audio or video settings at any time once you are inside the meeting.
